[DeTomaso] New LED Headlight Option?

Unless you are going for a completely new look (which modern LED's certainly allow) I'd stay with swapping out halogen bulbs for LED, by far the cheapest option. I upgraded my F150 Raptor to 5000K LED bulbs some time ago and it was literally like night & day, the best upgrade I have made. I contemplated getting LED bulbs for my GT5 Amerisport quad eyes but still need to take additional measurements as there isn't a lot of room behind the light housing and bucket for the cooling fans, complicated by the fact many of the online listings don't provide detailed information on the length of the bulb unit with fan.

As Mike says, there is a lot of junk out there, I usually wade through the customer ratings to aid decision making, but eve then those can be manipulated. Even if you sort by customer rating on Amazon, the sponsored results will appear first!

Although I have no experience, I know there is a LOT of cheap Chinese junk out there on Amazon etc.

Holley actually got into the retro LED game and seems to have some really terrific offerings, in both modern whiten and vintage sealed beam off white. Look on the Holley website and also on YouTube.
