[DeTomaso] Ceramic coating coolant pipes??

Living in Florida where there is no lack of heat, I can attest that the
cooling pipes expunge lots of heat, especially noticeable around the
shifter on mine. Why degrade free engine cooling outside of the engine
compartment when you do not need to?
Similar to Rich Hoppe's approach, I took a three-pronged approach to fix
the heat:: Upgrade the AC, insulate the cabin using a thermal barrier under
the carpet, and undercoat the car. Under the car, I added the rubberized
coat when I the car was stripped and painted. Inside, is a Dynamat Extreme
peel-and-stick thermal and sound barrier in my entire cabin, doors, and
roof that adds so much more solid feel to the car while insulating heat and
noise and removing rattles and vibration. Highly recommend it.
