Gray,

Agreed, we lost a 4 hour NASA enduro over spilled fuel. Thankfully, the Pantera pulls every drop from the fuel cell from the bottom. Based on Daytona, we can go a full hour.

Congrats on your fabulous run at Daytona. It was great to see you, and to see your car rebuilt after Sebring and running (and driven) flawlessly. You are certainly dialed in with that car. We are getting there with the Pantera....and we enjoy racing it and having so many people stopping by. We are getting there....

Steve,

Given opportunity for penalties and / or delays that the rules regarding fueling in most of the US Enduros present I would try everything you can to avoid needing to fuel. First make sure your pickup is allowing you to suck all the fuel out of the cell and then if need be find a way to add capacity.

Mike, you are absolutely right that we should set it up for dump cans. It will never need to run more than an hour in any vintage Enduro we do here in the states, and they all have a mandatory stop. We can dump 5 gallons in 7 seconds, which means even I can get out and back in. We would have done it here, but we just didn't plan on the Pantera doing the 24. We will be better prorated next time it does.
