                  Yes, I have found that therapeutic doses of tasty alcohol in its various forms does celebrate the highs and mollifies the lows of Pantera maintenance.   I do keep a supply handy for either occasion.

Chuck, to be sold in the U.S, all gauges electrical or mechanical must be +- 2% accuracy or better. So cheap gauges must be made of cheap materials or assembled cheaply (or both) in order to be sold for a profit. Even if the 'workers' are 8-yr-old street urchins being paid pennies. So cheap gauges simply cannot be expected to last very long. Buy another- maybe of better quality, plug it in and see if that fixes your problem. If not, you have a spare for tomorrow. If so, a glass of Merlot and on to the next problem. 'Cause there is always a 'next problem'!

How do you know you just aren’t out of gas?

I would think cheap enough just to buy replacements.

However, knowing the Pantera Research Institute (central division) may be low on projects, I see no reason for not testing some of the proposed solutions.

Though it just may be the gauges are toast (or you’re out of gas)
