[DeTomaso] Seat Belt Retraction Fix

Hi Mike,

My car is a '74 (#6598). When I bought it, the retractors at the base of 
the bulkhead were gone, although the cover plates are still there. There 
are retractors in the sills, with a sliding buckle in the middle and the 
seat belt terminating at the bolt to the side of the headrest that 
secures the bulkhead. I looked into replacing everything to get it back 
to original, but the vendors I checked had eye-watering prices that were 
out of stock anyway. I just wanted it to be functional again, and the 
current setup seems pretty safe to me, it's just a bit odd to adjust for 
a snug fit compared to "normal" seat belts in other vehicles.

> Your car is a 1971, right? The 71 cars didn’t have retractors at all. The ‘72-73 cars had single retractors in the sills and at some point the ‘74 cars had second retractors on each side for the shoulder belts, mounted at the base of the bulkhead….
