When my previous 72 signal flasher crapped out, I just went to the local auto parts store for a replacement. My recently acquired early 72 production car’s flasher was acting wonky. I thought no big deal an easy fix. Much to my surprise under the dash panel was not the familiar 3 connection flasher but a 4-connection Bosch version. And they are unobtainable anywhere or so I thought. I reached out to our resident Pantera electronics expert Jon Haas. And found out that he developed a replacement for this long out of production flasher. As with all PE products Jon has engineered it beyond the original specs. It can be adjusted for the flash rate, a nice feature for those cars with LEDs which will typically flash faster than conventional bulbs. It can be re installed back in the original Bosch box for secure mounting. And it comes with Jon’s great illustrated instructions.
