There iscurrently a BAT auction for a 72 as a “project”. I have seen this car and it isway beyond a typical restoration project.  Every panel has rust through, and thatincludes the sub frame. It has not been run in decades. The engine would requirea complete overhaul. The ZF internals are likely beyond a rebuild. The auctionis currently at $12.5 with 6 days to go. Unless you are skilled metal crafterand can do your own mechanical work, this car will likely cost double to “restore”than what is actually worth.
