    How about braided SS hose cutters?  People seem to like the Allstar Performance ALL11000:

but a little pricy.  Seems like clean cuts are the best way to make life easier.

    They all seem to be aluminum, but I think they can still scratch the
    anodizing.  There are adjustable "crescent" type wrenches with wide
    surfaces that look like they may be better:
