[DeTomaso] Rocker Panels on Ebay

I have not purchased this part, for the very reason you state, after some back and forth with the vendor I determined it only has curvature in one direction, he seemed unaware there was a lengthwise curve and stated he copied a panel from a vendor. There was a guy in Europe that made the buck to form a correct replacement, I think his cost was something like EUR600 as it was all hand formed and welded.

My builder is getting ready to remove my driver's side rocker panel and will
have to fabricate a new one as mine has many rust pin holes and a patch, and
will need to be cut off to get to the issues underneath.  Has anyone
purchased the rocker listed on Ebay at the link below?  I'm concerned that
it looks too straight to fit properly as the lower side of the car has a
convex shape from front to back.
