[DeTomaso] Yellow Pre-L '72 Currently on BaT

 A lot of attention to detail?  Someone spent a lot of time on it.  But how do you make sure it isn't a pretty face over compromised metal?  Does the absence of a thick undercoating in the engine compartment suggest the car was stripped to bare metal at some point?  I think it is a good idea to have photos of the stages of any repaint to show the metal is good.
