[DeTomaso] What is this car?

That air conditioned SLC Mike is speaking of was at my house a couple of months ago. When he saw our Pantera years ago, he wanted one. But being under 30 yrs old & single, he couldn't get anyone in N CA to insure him in a Pantera. So he sold his V-8 Porsche 914 and bought thisV-8 kit car which several companies said they would insure(?). He stopped by on his 250 mile check- ride before a track day at Laguna Seca. Sounds nice & moves right along with a blown V-8 & a Ricardo 6 speed. Excellent craftsmanship. I have a few little parts in it, too.J DeRyke

The side pods have been modified to accommodate the enormous rear tires.
