If no one here can help you, I'd suggest you call Bill Price at Price
Motorsport (pricemotorsport.com). He inherited Ford's 351C blueprints, so he
can give you the exact dimension. In fact, he probably knows it off the top
of his head. Since he's a Machinist, he can probably offer you some good
advice as to how you can repair your block. I measured the gear height in my
new Fontana block and found it was quite a bit different than a 351C. It
wasn't designed that way; it was machined by Fontana that way! If you try to
use an off-the-shelf 351C distributor without setting the gear height,
disaster awaits!
