[DeTomaso] Engine Cover Screen

Fred,

You will have to be more specific. Different versions of the Pantera had different screens, which varied considerably in length and also fastened in completely different ways. The early cars used simple sheetmetal screws while the L-models with outside fill used Dzus fasteners.

A couple of hundred ‘late early’ cars received early style screens with a raised solid center section, whereas most early cars just had the mesh, and the later ones all had the center section. Knowing the specifics of your car would be helpful.

It pains me to hear of somebody butchering an original screen. It wouldn’t be difficult to fabricate what you need rather than wrecking an original part?
