 I don't think there is such a thing as "actual worth".  What a car is worth is what the buyer thinks at that moment of the sale.

I'm not a collector and would take the pro-touring Pantera over the "original" if in the same condition.  I have seen Vette restomods sell for crazy prices.  

If a restomod Pantera is done right, why be so critical?  I would not want an original Pantera.

I couldn’t have said it any better, Mike. As my grandfather and I learned 
many years ago, even though you’ve put $200K into a car, it’s value is only 
what someone is willing to pay for it.
