Thanks.  I needed a laugh.

I had to double-nut mine to get them off.  The little hex wasn't deep enough for an allen wrench to turn the stud.  Btw, I never used sealant on the studs, and never had an issue with coolant weeping or anything weird like that.  But maybe a previous owner did that to you - so that's why it's so hard to get them off.
