[DeTomaso] ideas as to removing aluminum head

As it was already stated here, if you remove the head studs, then taking 
the heads off should not be a problem. Your challenge could be getting 
the studs out of the block. My studs where topped with a hex fitting, 
but that doesn't mean that the studs will unscrew from the block very 
easily. You can try an impact wrench, but that could result in a twisted 
or broken hex tool and still have a stuck cylinder head stud. There is a 
stud removal tool that grips the stud and allows removal, which is what 
I had to purchase in order to remove some of the studs from my Fontana 
block.
