Steven,

I can share my camera location solution but if you intend to mount a separate screen, as opposed to using a aftermarket touchscreen receiver, I have no idea where an full 7 inch auxiliary screen could be placed.

Wilkinson offers a replacement horizontal gauge panel and matching base for the single pod cars that is designed for a full-size touchscreen receiver.

A lot of searching found this license plate frame which I believe is the nicest design available. It is well constructed with clean lines and is very solid; not a thin, flimsy piece of tin.

I ran my wiring up into the rear panel area where many owners relocate the tail light wiring. There is less than 1/2 inch of exposed cable. It is in a location that is well sheltered from weather exposure

Search Google with the phrase ?crime stopper license frame camera?. There are two camera options, cam 300 and cam 400, with different levels of picture quality, none of them close to HD.

Hope this helps.
