[DeTomaso] Pantera dragster for sale!

I know you’ve all been asking yourselves, “When am I ever going to get a chance to buy a genuine Pantera that has been converted into a front-engined tube-framed dragster?”

Built by a PCNC member, Cliff Marks, back in the 1980s I think, but I don’t know if it was ever really completed. Maybe the current owner finished it?  Cliff also owned a somewhat famous/notorious Black ‘71 Pantera that had zoomie headers, and I think it was powered by a Ford 427 Cobra motor. It was featured in many car calendars and posters way back when:

The dragster is for sale at Dodi’s Auto Sales, the noted purveyor of terrible cars located in Monterey. 

I can’t wait to hear which one of you is the lucky new owner! :)
