[DeTomaso] Lowered Floor Pans for more headroom

Doug,

We did exactly that on our Pantera GRp3 build.

We left the front intact to avoid cutting the cross-brace under your feet.
We and angled it down "just enough" to keep the rear of the lowered seat
floor from dragging. Even doing only that -- you need to be very careful
what you cut and then rebrace everything to not weaken the frame. I can
snap some pictures tomorrow or Thursday if you like. We actually have the
seats out of it, as we are redoing the whole car, so now is a good time to
see what we did.

Regarding adjustability, our race seats are mounted securely with side
braces that have slots to allow minor adjustment forward/back and angled.
We now room for helmets and a full roll cage -- but the drivers are 5'10"
or under.

Let me know if you want some pics.

Regards,

Steven G. Lisa, Esq.
