No- that plaque is one of two that was originally GLUED to the sheet steel rocker covers in production by Ford/DeTomaso. The glue melted from heat from hot oil inside the covers, so many were lost. The fancy mounting plate system was made by Marino Perna  of Pantera East decades ago, and copied by everyone. Before the mounting plates were available, I drilled 2 countersunk holes in a stock plaque and fastened it around the rear swaybar using Adel clips and 2 flat-head screws, with elastic stop-nuts. Going on 30 yrs and it hasn't fallen off yet. The one shown is behind the swaybar. Mine is in front of the swaybar, hanging from it.

  Hey, just a quick question.A
Does anyone know if that rectangular emblem that says "Detomaso"A I see
commonly installed on the lower rear engineA casing a factory part? It
faces to the rear just below the sway bar.
Some cars have it and some don't.
  Thanks, happy holidays folks!
