[DeTomaso] Undercarraige emblem

Hey, just a quick question.
Does anyone know if that rectangular emblem that says "Detomaso" I see
commonly installed on the lower rear engine casing a factory part? It faces
to the rear just below the sway bar.
Some cars have it and some don't.
