Subject: [DeTomaso] where is the 4 wire connector under the driver's side of the dash? Some time ago I had a problem where the engine cut out that was traced to a connector that joined 2 sets of 4 wires under the driver's side of the dash. The connector used screws that pressed directly down on the strands of the wires and had damaged the strands of one wire, resulting in a bad connection.
I bought a different kind of junction block that protected the strands but never got around to installing it, and now I've forgotten where the offending connector was.
I see two large multi-wire connectors under the dash, a red and a blue, but they don't look right
Anyone know what connector I'm talking about?
