[DeTomaso] ??Oil for hyd-roller engine?

There's an article coming out in the May Newsletter on this very subject, with excerpts from Lake Speed, jr  of Driven Oil (aka Joe Gibbs) and four pro engine builders. To some extent it depends on what hydraulic roller lifter you use- the overwhelming choice is Morel- and the viscosity of your oil. 20W50 is pretty thick. Two factors occur: noise from the lifters and how the engine performs overall.
