Ken,

Claude exported cars from Europe, rather than importing them here. He worked with George Stauffer in Wisconsin who was importing the GT5.  Rather than buying directly from the factory, George was ordering them from Claude, who was the Benelux distributor. Claude would then order the cars from the factory and transfer them to him once he received them.
