[DeTomaso] Comments or options on Bring a Trailer

I have watched that website and think it's well done! I've also watched a
friend go to great lengths to submit his car only to have it rejected.

I think our cars may or may not have hit a plateau in value; too hard to
tell. I also think the next generation of buyers will want one of two
things: either a mostly stock example or a restomod. It's just my opinion.
The mostly stock example is easy: they will want it for a collection.
The restomod is more easily explained by the fact that many of the newer
generations and even my generation (Gen X here) likes the old styling with
new technology. We may even see electric conversions of our beloved
Panteras because people want to drive an updated, yet stylish car. My
grandfather restored 1920's and 1930's cars and he loved them, but you
rarely see a stock example of one on the roads today. Even in local car
shows it's rare to see a stock example, because who wants to drive it on
the freeway at 70 mph? They have their place, but the stock examples are
going in collections and not being driven much if at all.
