[DeTomaso] Rear Wheel Bearing

The bearing seal is visible in the photo, detached and riding on the axle flange hub. Good catch and avoids a catastrophic failure that could have damaged axle and/or hub carrier.

Just looking at parts book, it only shows that the bearing itself has a
shield/seal (yours is missing)

So I was under my car today just putting air in my tires, (I have those
ridiculous air valves that are on the inside), and I looked up and saw this.
See attached. Anyone know what's going on here, that I can see the inside
of my wheel bearing?
