[DeTomaso] New 15" tires for 10" Campys - resend

The Avon 60 series look tall and skinny up front. I changed to Michelin 50
series up front with the Avon 50 series on back 10" Campys. Not matching
but much better looking and handling is balanced on the track.

Just my opinion. I still own the 60 series Avon fronts.

just one 20 minute session at COTA on NOS T/As, they were fried, I

     second session.
I took the plunge and called Roger Kraus Racing [(510) 582-5031]

     the wet.
The sizes for the Campys is 215/60VR15 and 295/50VR15.
I've only got the rears on my car right now with 225/50-15 Falkens
up front.A I'm in the long process of installing a new engine which
weighs less than the old one.A After the install, I'll make the

     with Falken-Avon combination.

A D'oh!A I'm just happy there are some additional options
available.A Clearly NOT a performance tire, but better speed rating
than the BFG's.A It would be interesting to do a handling
comparison between the 2 sets of tires on the same car on the same
     course.
I used to have BFG Radial TA (front) and Euro TA (rear) on my car
and they did NOT inspire confidence!A They were super slippery in
any turn.A When I switched to the Toyo Proxies years ago, my
Pantera became an entirely different car...A all of a sudden I
could take corners at speed, with confidence that the car wasn't
going to slide off the line.
Anyway, I hope you guys are doing well Paul and Lashdeep.A Maybe
we'll get to catch up at the Monterey Historic Races next year
(hopefully) and we can pontificate tires over a few beers.A :)
