Oh Yeah! I had a guy approach me at the gas station. He asked me why I put a
Pantera logo on a Mangusta? I said "Because it IS a Pantera! Not a Mangusta!"
He kept arguing and said he owned a Mangusta and my car is NOT a Pantera.
I just smiled and quickly drove away.

As one who lives in the area I can tell you there is no port in San Jose. The cars were shipped, as running driving cars, to Baltimore, or Long Beach.
There was a lot of recall work done to early cars that involved removing and reinstalling the drivetrain, but it was all done in Long Beach, North Carolina or Detroit.
