Believe it or not, I was able to easily apply nyloc nuts to both bolts on the ends of the lower bar. My radiator is leaned forward a couple of inches, that may have provided the extra clearance to make it so easy.

I used 1/2 flat bar stock from Home Depot or Lowes and tapped it for the thread size the bolts used. You really can't get to the forward bolt to put a nut on it with the radiator installed so tapping is a must. It's been working pretty well for several years now.
thanks Rick

Thanks all for bring this topic up and thanks for the picture Rick. I've been frustrated by the bouncing headlights for a few decades 😉 I just fab'ed up a similar device using the detailed plans found on the Panterplace web site ( <http://www.panteraplace.com/page138.htm> http://www.panteraplace.com/page138.htm ). I improvised a little, because I could only find some scraps of half inch wide aluminum stock. I haven't driven it at night yet, but it appears as though this will clearly solve the problem.
Thanks,
Mike Becker

Sandwich the radiator mounting bracket and create a bump stop with just enough pressure to stop the headlights from shaking. Someone posted this a few years ago and it only took me around a hour to make it.
