[DeTomaso] Led headlamps...

Dear Ken,
I agree with you. Electricity does strange things, especially when I am involved. My friend, whose business is electrical in nature, spent about sixteen hours over a weekend at my place with multimeter and the Pantera electrical schematic. He was stumped.
In any event, I was indeed impressed by the initial performance of the LEDs before they turned “darkish”. I am very interested in finding an LED headlight replacement that will simply plug in and work.
Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Might try bypassing the switch etc and just run a temporary wire from the battery to the headlight and see what happens? Electricity does strange things and a circuit that is part of an LED conversion that might be sensitive to the power source?

I'm wiring an EFI and the "experts" say you absolutely have to run dedicated wires from the battery to the ECU, and taking short cuts is a major cause of issues with EFI installations, even the ground wires should be from the battery to the ECU.

Another member of the Squadron who is much more electrically competent that I am, spent hours trying to locate the problem. No luck. We put the old halogen bulbs back in and they worked: low beam and high beam.
