[DeTomaso] Owner and his Pantera victims of NorCal fire

I would have thought that Dennis’s car burning from the inside-out would be worse or hotter burning, than burning from the outside-in of a structure fire, but as Kevin related  to me that in this case the ZF transmission case had also melted in this structure fire, so it appears to have been even hotter than Dennis Pantera of which I had literally scraped off the Silverstate’s Hwy 318 asphalt with my rollback flatbed Transporter. Very tough to straighten flame torched and tempered sheet metal. Gott to tip your hat to the job Dennis had  done.

Agreed Mike, That is why I spent better part of an hour going over all the issues he would likely run into. He was very firm of his commitment to resurrect This particular Pantera. It is because of this personal connection that we have with these cars that this club is so unique.

So sad that the owner lost his life. These fires are so terribly powerful....
