Ditto on the upholstery shop for the thicker foam.

For the thin foam go to your local fabric store. They have many options of thin .125 & .250 foam and most are lined with fabric. I think they are used in quilting and blankets and what not. 

Just go in and approach one of the clerks at the cutting tables and do the poor, dumb guy routine; that worked for me. ;-)
