This website appears to be accurate and has the latest statistics, updates continuously:

There are clearly things going on that have not been explained.  Italy and Spain are doing awful in terms of cases and even much worse in terms of deaths.  Countries in the southern hemisphere seem to be doing much better, maybe because it has been summer there, and this may be seasonal.  May get at lot better in the next month, but come back in the fall.
