Here is the part number on the original driver side mirror on my late '74D3TB-17743-DA  Steve says this is a 1973 Truck mirror based on the D3T in the casting.

   Mike...
I know I have the Original Mirrors and gaskets from My 73 Car! Didn't
see them with a quick look tonight. Tomorrow I'll move the Cars out and
do a Better look! Will post any numbers I find. Maybe someone else will
  have the Numbers tonight?

  All,
Does anybody have an original, stock chrome door mirror lying around?
Steve Liebenow is trying to get identifying part numbers for it. Itas
widely known the Pantera used a generic Ford mirror for the 67 Mustang
(and other cars) but the gaskets differ between applications. The
Mustang had a convex door top so the mounting gasket is thick and
shaped a bit like a boataflat on top, curved on the bottom, and
unusable on a flat Pantera door top. If he could find the actual Ford
part number (which is cast into the underside of the mirror base) then
he could cross it with all other Ford cars that used that same mirror
and perhaps find one that works perfectly for the Pantera.
So many people have installed aftermarket mirrors, surely somebody out
there has an original one on the shelf somewhere?
