[DeTomaso] Holley Sniper EFI ---Any thoughts?

The Holley Sniper EFI sounds like a good system. I have been using the
FAST XFI 2.05 system for years and the Holley system does allow you to
run a coil on plug system without having to purchase a special ignition
box like FAST does.

When it comes to performance and daily driving, these fuel injection
systems are hard to beat. A well tuned carburetor at wide open throttle
should be equal to a fuel injection system, but getting that tune
exactly correct might be a challenge. When it comes to gas mileage, the
fuel injection systems have a big advantage. Although the current engine
in my Pantera was never run on the street with a carburetor, I could not
imagine being able to get 16 to 20 mile per gallon without fuel
injection. The engine is producing close to 600 horsepower at the
flywheel and I can estimate that with a carburetor, it would be a 10 to
13 mile per gallon engine.

On a side note, when I switched the system from bank fired port
injection to sequential port injection, I gained about one to two miles
per gallon.
