We have a guy here in San Diego that is truly a master carburetor rebuilder. He serviced every race car that ran at the now closed Cajon Speeway. Dear Marshall and Bill, I was ignorant of the Holley 750 double pumper. I had factory off-the-shelf Holleys that were disappointing for years. I then had custom built Holley 4150s 750 with vacuum secondaries for years. They were a great leap forward. Finally, I succumbed to the reputation and temptation of a custom built Holley 750 double pumper. It was phenomenally better. I now worship at the Holley double pumper temple. I wholeheartedly agree with you both.
