[DeTomaso] 6328 Resto Files - The Wiring Wall

Years ago the pantera club was at riverside track with other cars. I was running my 15th round door knob car on the track.
A Porsche with that rear engine Chevy, slid in turn one and hooked into the inside wall. Driver was not hurt. The left front of the car was crushed to thE windshield. Both left side wheels broke into pieces. Not many parts left to salvage.

Every time I have been to riverside one car was had to be sacrificed to the car gods.

Can't help but think that a V8 stuffed into the back of a 911 would not only make the Porsche purists want to impale themselves, but the trailing throttle oversteer has got to be life-threatening.

Sounds hard to believe - but true. Drove it off the ship in San Francisco in 1965. Now has a 250 h.p. rotary @ 11,500 red line. A little rocket ship.
