[DeTomaso] Speaking of EFI--Water Temp Sensor Question

The largest wires (12 ga) are for the injectors. I guess FAST wants them separate from wires for the processor? I will run other wires for an electric water pump and fuel pump, I think both 20 amps, planning 14 ga.
I know weird things can happen when current flows in wires, some not intuitive. Those darn magnetic fields. I guess the varying current to the injectors might be an issue, but I don't recall shielding the power wires to the injectors?

Well, the battery does indeed act as a huge filter capacitor so it makes sense to feed the EFI from there if it is sensitive to noise.
As you have eliminated the ammeter that doesn’t matter either.
Are you feeding the fuel pump from there too?
The major current draw will be the fuel pump, injectors and hego heaters. The controller itself won’t be much I assume.
