I have a scrap Scout with the slant 4.

Bud #3400 ( Drive it like there is no tomorrow -- for there may not be ! )

  I had a Scout 80.  It has the robust "152 C.I." engine - a IH 304
  engine cut
  in half.
  I can't say it was "rugged", but it was super cool.
  Currently have a FJ40 as my "Off Road" vehicle...
