 Are the reported last minute bids accurate?  Looks like it went from $44k to $63K in the last 6 minutes?

Well the engine bay and underside of that car make it look like it was dredged out of a swamp. When rust is practically dripping from the car you can’t expect people to pay much for it. The seller could have spent a weekend cleaning all the rusty fasteners and spiffing up the underside and made another $10k or more. 

Having said that, the photos strongly suggested the car was full of rust so at least the buyer can’t claim he was ripped off if it turns out to be true....
