Julian,

I would have been far more clear—I don’t know what I was thinking. This is a Pre-L car that somebody grafted an L-Model front bumper onto. The turn signals are just screwed to the underside of the bumper instead of being mounted properly in metal pods on the body. 

This is something easily rectified by simply refitting stock Pre-L front bumpers. Perhaps this is something the overzealous buyer considered, as its not a major undertaking, especially if they were included in the sale.

However I do think this car should have drawn $65-70k tops. The seller is laughing all the way to the bank....
