I don’t know about Curt’s Radio, but I probably saw it. I think that’s where I got the idea to size the original block off plate graphics onto the face plate. The earlier ones had a failure rate with the flex board failing so they dropped that whole line for a while and reintroduced this some years later as one and only, hi end model that fixed the flexing faceplate problem. I don’t see a blue tooth graphic on the box but, it does show Sirius, MP3, and a dozen other digital compatibles. I did buy quite a few of these and affixed the Panther graphics to them, which I still think is pretty cool. I will have to check around to see if there is anything currently available that we can modify to suit the DeTomaso environment.

Larry,
This is the radio setup pioneered by Curt Toumanian a couple of decades ago, right? Doesn’t this radio date from back then too?
Nothing wrong with it, but it’s far from modern, i.e. doesn’t have all the newfangled stuff the kids are into now like Bluetooth etc?

You have a printed foil sticker with the Ford block-off plate logo attached to it, right?
I always thought this was a really slick implementation, although I prefer the 1970s Becker Europa or Becker Mexico, which is really old-school cool....:)

You can also add a remote CD changer option. This a complete Kenwood KDC-X689 remote driven option, CD Digital Radio Receiver with Chrome DeTomaso Radio Block off plate graphics. All the modern radio conveniences that when not in use looks like a radio delete optioned Pantera interior.
