I can’t comment on your two tool choices, but I will provide an alternative for you and others to think about.

This is a very common ratchet-action crimping tool that accepts many different purpose crimping dies. My piece is made by Accel but I believe Summit has their own as do others. Staying within this style crimper, dies for one brand will work with another brand.

In the photo are dies for common insulated terminals, weather pack terminals and M/F spade connector terminals. Also a cutter/stripper and crimper for spark plug wires and the dies currently in the crimper are for right angle female spade connectors. 

In assembling 2511 I have crimped numerous male/female OEM-style nylon connectors and many Weatherpack connectors. As with any tool there is a learning curve but this ratcheting crimper has proven to be consistent and reliable.
