[DeTomaso] Flushing the AC Condenser and Heater Core

There are fairly inexpensive alcohol based A/C flushing fluids that we use by the gallon. If you use Ester base oils in your a/c system, you don't really need to flush out the residual mineral oils out of your systems and those residual mineral oils will seal the old hoses for R-134 use. You can make it complicated and expensive trying to save $ with common PAG oil systems.

I flush the units with lacquer thinner. I simply attach a rubber hose
on one end and fill with thinner. Then, I use light pressure and blow
it through the unit. I use a second hose on the other end to direct
into a pail. Then I can repeat the procedure multiple times.

A A I've got both the AC condenser and the heater core out of the
         car for

         AC
A A system.A The AC has never worked/been used in the 16+ years
         I've owned

         I'd like to
A A ask the collective for advice on the best way to flush the
         condenser
A A and the AC side of the heater core so they are clear of all old
         oils
A A and chemicals before installation.
A A Should I take them to an automotive AC shop?A Not sure how
         they would
A A pressurize them without being installed as a system.
         A A Thanks
