[DeTomaso] Speedometer

Thomas,

I have not done that. How does one verify which one has?

I bought this car new in 1974 in the US. The speedo read properly then. I had it resto/modded in 2015. The ZF was rebuilt but I don't know that the rebuilder changed that drive or why he would have. But it is best to be safe.

Thanks for the insight,

Jim Kosloskey

Have you verified that you have the correct angle drive? A kph drive with an mph speedo will show around 42 mph when it should show around 56.
