[DeTomaso] Electric anyone?

There are lots of Teslas in my neighborhood. Most parking lots have recharge stations (grocery stores, turnpike rest areas, etc.). There are several spots where I work at Carnival.

All of the owners love them to death. Some of it is the naïve save-the-earth mentality. But, if the car sucked, they wouldn't keep them. They are driving Teslas instead of their Mercedes and BMWs. They can afford the gasoline, but they drive the Teslas anyway.

It's pretty cool what these things can do.

My next door neighbor has the minivan version. It has built in theft prevention with video cameras. If someone sets off the alarm, you get photos sent to your phone before, during, and after the alarm went off. If I recall correctly, you can even speak to the person "Hey - what are you doing!! I see you!"

I would love to have one, but I can't justify the price. It should cost $30-$50K less than it does. Instead, I'm doing my part to green up the planet by using my Viper as a daily driver. Hey - plants gots to eat too.

Gotta say after two years, I’m very impressed by our Model 3 as well. Having nearly zero maintenance is easy to get used to too!

More time to maintain, polish, and enjoy the Pantera and M Roadster!
