OK, so why do we install offset bushings, modify the ball joints? Etc? Is that because the factory specs are theoretically good but you can't get there with stock parts? I thought that one of the objectives was to reduce tramlining on the wide body cars?

Charlie,

Apart from a bit more caster, I believe the stock GT5 specs are very appropriate for street driving. 

Does anybody else disagree?  I don’t claim specific expertise here; I’m working on intuition informed by the factory specs.
