It's a very good, very solid car. Fred traded it to Legendary a number of years ago in a complex multi-car transaction. He still has 4-5 other Panteras, plus a 2-headlight Mangusta, the Mangusta Spyder prototype, two 'regular' Vallelungas, an aluminum Vallelunga Fissore coupe, the De Tomaso Ghia Sport 2000, and the De Tomaso/BRM Fantuzzi Sport 1000. Oh, and four or five airplane hangars of other noteworthy cars.....:)MikeSent from my iPhone> On Apr 2, 2020, at 12:43, Fred Foreman <fred4man at att.net> wrote:> > Saw a nice '74 Pantera listed on Legendary Motorcar Company Ltd., Ontario,  website.> > https://www.legendarymotorcar.com/inventory/1974-de-tomaso-pantera-2155.aspx> > I like the color!> Fred Foreman> _______________________________________________> > > Detomaso Email List is not managed by POCA> Posted emails must not exceed 1.5 Megabytes> DeTomaso mailing list> DeTomaso at server.detomasolist.com> http://server.detomasolist.com/mailman/listinfo/detomaso> > To manage your subscription (change email address, unsubscribe, etc.) use the links above.> > Members who post to this list grant license to the list to forward any message posted here to all past, current, or future members of the list. I've driven and worked on this car a bit (replaced turn signal switch
and steering wheel pad) when it was part of the Fred Phillips
   collection in Calgary:
It was a barn find car with less than 3000 miles. 100% original, but
sadly not properly stored so the paint was damaged and it needed a
repaint. It's a very good, very solid car.
Fred traded it to Legendary a number of years ago in a complex
multi-car transaction. He still has 4-5 other Panteras, plus a
2-headlight Mangusta, the Mangusta Spyder prototype, two 'regular'
Vallelungas, an aluminum Vallelunga Fissore coupe, the De Tomaso Ghia
Sport 2000, and the De Tomaso/BRM Fantuzzi Sport 1000.
Oh, and four or five airplane hangars of other noteworthy cars.....:)
