  I do t think they actually got the car from Kirk, although I could be
  wrong. I think they got them directly from De Tomaso, but Kirk was
  involved with the process. Unlike his GTS Panteras, it was equipped
  just like his Amerisport cars which was done in the USA by Kirk, so
  it?s possible that this particular one was routed through his hands?
  This car definitely through Kirk.  I think he said so recently on the
  email list, but in any case, at one point in the show, there was a
  brief shot of a label in the engine compartment that said "DeTomaso"
  and below that "Amerisport".
