[DeTomaso] Battery Cable Ends, OK to solder?

They're made to be soldered. The only thing to be careful of is the huge amount of heat necessary, that might burn the cable insulation. You'll need a propane torch and lots of flux. Add shrink tubing slid well out of the way before soldering.

  they can be crimped, but I'd like to just solder them.  Any reason to
